Just wanting to give an update on our mission/school/church that was destroyed during the earthquake. As most of you may know,we lost 2 boys & many were seriously injured, the injured boys have received medical attention, 2 of them lost 4 fingers & one is in serious danger of losing his leg. The boys have been taken out of the city & moved out into the country & are currently living in a makeshift shelter. Food & water has become a major problem & still scarce. The boys still have only the clothes they had on at the time of quake & are making the best of the terrible situation that has fallen upon them. Our overseer & principle are working hard at providing for the boys which I have been informed is becoming difficult to do at best.

The compound is still a pile of rubble & is located in Gressier. Most of us here in America that has never been to a country so poor does not understand that this will be long term undertaking as most of this will have to be removed by hand, the people of Haiti have no bulldozers, dump trucks, or other earth moving equipment other than what they have been given by other govts helping out. I have been informed that people are saying it would take a thousand dumptrucks a thousand days to clear the rubble from Port Au Prince alone.

I am commited to rebuilding our mission as well as our overseer is, it's been a 30 yr investment for us & will be years before things return to normal.

I continue to implore you to make this more personnel by helping us in the rebuilding process, for every 1$ you give is worth 8$ in Haiti, a small amount goes a long way over there. We want to continue educating children in Hait giving them a better chance at succeding. We have fed & educated 1000's of children there all while giving them a firm foundation by leading them to Christ.

To date we have raised apx 4k in donations, a great start but we are aware of how far we have to go.

I will be traveling to Haiti to help begin the rebuilding process when safe enough to travel there. it was dangerous to go there in the best of times. As for the immediate future our overseer will travel to Miami to pick up what we have collected so far.

I will be writing periodic updates as to the progress we make & pray that the people of Haiti are not forgotten,I ask for your support & prayers. God Bless
